The hotel is located at the end of Morro de Sao Paulo’s famous First Beach, it really is part of the charm, the hotel and the beach are almost as one, coexisting in perfect harmony.
At the same time, the village centre is only minutes away, so you can quickly access the shops, restaurants and bars of the village, as well as easy access to the second beach and the village square.
The property has a privileged sunrise orientation, designed to be in harmony with nature, allowing for year-round breezes blowing in from the Atlantic, and soon after breakfast, the sun is already above the hotel, so to be on the One Beach veranda is a pleasure.
We strongly advise you to set your alarm to experience the sunset, on clear days it is something you will never forget.
As the property is only accessible by the beach, it means that occasionally, there are short periods of the day where you cannot enter or leave the property, although it tends to be for less than an hour and only on certain days, but don’t worry, this connection with the sea and beach is the very heart of who we are.
Since we live and breathe the tide, we orient our guests so that they are aware if there is a day when for a short period there may be no access. The views have an ever-changing face, as the tide rises and falls, as the light peaks and dims and as the weather conditions shift, you will never tire of this - it is real life theatre.
The views from the verandas are something you will never forget, with a bird’s eye view of the first beach and a panoramic view of the surrounding ocean and bay, yet the elevation and orientation of the property means that it is both peaceful, relaxing and inspirational.
The natural pools below are a hidden gem of Morro de Sao Paulo, rarely visited by tourists, at low tide the colours range from emerald-green to sky-blue.
The only real wat to appreciate the One Beach natural pools, is to be there yourself, photos just do not do them justice.
When the tide is low, the beach in front is afforded a tidal break by the abundance of rocks, which act to create a natural lagoon in front of the hotel. The water is hot like a spa, and is great for swimming, bathing, and taking in the sheer beauty of your surroundings.
